Week 2: Social Software Literacy & Affordances

By the end of this week, you will:
- understand of the origins and definition of the terms “social software”, “web 2.0″, and “library 2.0″.
- have a broad grasp on the types of technologies and tools that fall under the “social software” umbrella.
- understand the ways in which social media has impacted the way we communicate online.
Readings
There are a lot of articles here, and some are quite long, so I don’t expect you to read them all during the first week. Read a few in week 2 and get to the rest over the course of the term.
