Hey Jessica, yes this whole situation really sucks, especially for people who had to go through it before at york!
As far as i know, strikes take place at this time to put pressure on the administration - as it is just passed midterms and before winter exams - students are put into limbo which forces action. lets hope for the best!

I semi-emailed this question earlier before reading this post but then I will ask it again here .... if we continue to blog as we were supposed to can you just mark that after the strike is over? or do we need to wait for the strike to be over for any postings to count.

This ALWAYS happens to me right before I graduate. At York I had my final course and then they went on strike two months before finishing and so my course completion was put on hold which means when I started at FIMS in that January my entrance was completely probationary. And now with my final course at UWO, with only two months to go, they might be going on strike. Why is October/November always strike time? Sorry for the long comment....slightly bitter that this is happening AGAIN.

quite right, Jessica. I just tried it, too, and the site tries to load for ages but doesn't. I'm hoping it is a temporary server issue, but I'll keep my eye on it over the next day or two. Thanks for letting us know.

Thanks for the marks/feedback :)

Also, for week 7, under the case studies, 'My Own Cafe' link does not work for some reason. I just get a 'network has reset' error and I know it isn't my internet as all the other links do work.

Hope you had a great weekend.
