Week 9: Participation — Microblogging & Lifestreaming
31 October 2010 | Filed under: Lifestreaming, Microblogging, Week 9 | Comments OffWelcome back, everyone! I hope you all had a great research week last week. We’re on to week 9 — this week we’re looking at participation in microblogging and lifestreaming apps and this week’s lecture specifically tackles the notion of the real-time web. I have to confess that the examples in this week’s lecture are stale because I’ve had to use the lecture I did on the topic a few months ago. Vimeo is having some issues and won’t let me upload the lecture I just recorded (content is the same, just updated the examples), so I thought it best to go with a previous version for now. I’ll keep at it and let you know if I have success uploading the new lecture!
As usual, I’ve included all the links visited below the video embed. Don’t forget to check out the content page for this week for the complete run-down of readings, case studies, to-dos and reminders.
Happy Hallowe’en!
